Co-founder of cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital, Su Zhu, has been apprehended and sentenced to four months in jail in Singapore, according to the company's liquidator. Three Arrows Capital filed for bankruptcy last year after suffering significant losses due to a sell-off of assets amid a decline in cryptocurrency markets. Zhu was detained at Changi Airport while attempting to leave the country. The liquidator, Teneo, obtained a committal order against Zhu for failing to cooperate with the investigation into the company's failure. Co-founder Kyle Davies was also sentenced to four months in prison, but his whereabouts are currently unknown. The Monetary Authority of Singapore had previously banned both founders from conducting regulated investment activity for nine years each. The liquidator is working to recover the company's assets and provide returns to creditors, but Zhu and Davies have been accused of not cooperating with these efforts.
